Poly Span Jacquard is a textured knit or woven fabric made from a blend of polyester and spandex (elastane). This fabric combines the durability and wrinkle resistance of polyester with the stretch and flexibility of spandex. What makes it unique is the jacquard weave, which creates raised patterns or intricate designs woven directly into the fabric, rather than printed on the surface. It typically has a firm yet flexible structure, making it ideal for structured dresses, skirts, jackets, blazers, pants, activewear, and even upholstery or decorative items.
To care for Poly Span Jacquard, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or air dry, and iron on a low setting if needed, preferably on the reverse side. Avoid high heat to maintain the fabric’s stretch and structure.
